WARNER BOARD OF SELECTMEN Chairman Nogues opened the meeting at 6:30 P.M.. All Selectmen were present along with members of the public. Jim Mclaughlin met with the Selectmen to present Plan NH, a non-profit organization that offers assistance and recommended uses for projects such as the Martin building. Chairman Nogues is putting together a committee for that purpose. Mr. Mclaughlin also informed the Selectmen that he has an estimate of $10,700.00 for digitizing all the tax maps. Last topic was an update of the Fortin and Redmond property that the Conservation Commission is working on purchasing. The Selectmen discussed the upcoming recycle meeting on February 1st . Chairman Nogues made a motion to accept 12/28 minutes with amendments. Selectman Brayshaw seconded. Selectman O’Connor made a request of the Town Clerk to research whether the current safe can be moved safely. Selectman Brayshaw made the motion to keep Mary Whalen on as a permanent employee, Selectman O’Connor seconded, motion carried. The Selectmen presented a memo of understanding to Mr. Azmy prior to the Selectmen’s meeting. Selectman O’Connor informed the Board that Charles Durgin has volunteered his time to do a complete inventory of the Martin building. Selectman Brayshaw and Ed Mical changed the locks and made sure the building is secure. A total of five keys were distributed to the Maintenance Supervisor, Fire Department, Police Department, Selectmen’s office and Public Works Director. Chairman Nogues made a motion if the Police Chief desires to retain the vacuum purchased by Mr. White, it is to come out of his budget of 2001. Selectman O’Connor seconded, motion carried. Selectman Brayshaw will contact Nailite in regards to the warranty on the siding at the Police Station. The Board of Selectmen discussed the Warrant Articles to be presented to the budget committee. Capitol Reserve 1. Revaluation $75,000.00 2. Highway equipment $50,000.00 3. Fire equipment $50,000.00 4. Expendable Forest Fire Trust $10,000.00 5. Fire tank truck $140,000.00 Further discussion will take place next Selectmen’s meeting. The Board of Selectmen discussed the proposed revenues for 2001 that will be presented at the next budget committee meeting. The Selectmen signed one building permit, and a reimbursement from over payment of taxes, and a reimbursement for a resident registering the same vehicle twice. The Selectmen discussed having Town employees do the mowing of municipal buildings and fields rather than contracting out. Further discussion is needed. Selectmen O’Connor made the motion to adjourn at 10:00 P.M., Selectmen Brayshaw seconded, motion carried.
