Warner Board of Selectmen

Site-Walk

July 9, 2007

Site-walk began at: 9:10 a.m.

Present: Selectman David E. Hartman – Chairman, Selectman Wayne Eigabroadt, Selectman Richard A. Cook

Absent: None

Others present: None

Site visit began at 9:10 a.m. at the property of Map 10, Lot 29.  The owner of that property had come to the Selectmen with a complaint that the neighboring property, Map 10, Lot 30-1, has buildings located too close to his property line.  Neither property owner was present at the site visit.

Using the sketch map supplied by Lot 29, the Selectmen verified that all of the Lot 30-1 buildings in question appear to be built closer than the 40-foot setback required by the Warner zoning ordinance in this zone.  It was also noted that the house and barn of Lot 29 are located closer than the 40-foot setback.  Also, of particular note; roosters were neither seen nor heard during the site visit.  They appear to have left the premises.

The property files for both Lot 29 and Lot 30-1 need to be researched to determine:  1. When did construction of buildings take place with respect to the zoning requirements in effect at the time of construction.  2.  Were building permits issued for the buildings, including houses, barns and additions to barns, and sheds.

Site visit concluded at 9:45 a.m.
Notes taken by Chairman Hartman.
