WARNER BOARD OF SELECTMEN
MINUTES
DECEMBER 28, 2000

Chairman Nogues opened the meeting at 6:30 P.M.. Selectman Brayshaw was in attendance along with members of the public. Selectman O’Connor was absent.

Chairman Nogues opened the bids for the 1976 Dodge animal control vehicle. Selectman Brayshaw read them as:

1. Wilson S. Sammis with a bid for $475.00

2. Scott Buchanan with a bid for $800.00

3. Scott Leppard with a bid of $388.25

4. Marty Fisher with a bid of $777.00

5. Nathan Piroso with a bid of $710.00

Selectman Brayshaw made the motion to award the 1976 Dodge to Scott Buchanan for $800.00. Chairman Nogues seconded the motion.

Chairman Nogues and Selectman Brayshaw reviewed a memo of understanding for Mr. Azmy. The memo states required steps to be taken to bring his property on 80 Poverty Plains Road up to compliance. After further discussion the Selectmen requested a meeting with Mr. Azmy to review and sign the memo at the next Selectmen’s meeting on January 4th.

Chairman Nogues and Selectman Brayshaw signed an abatement of $16.71 for interest charges and administrative fees.

Chairman Nogues and Selectman Brayshaw signed two intents to cut, one elderly exemption, and a confirmatory deed.

Chairman Nogues informed the Board of receiving complaints of to much salt being applied on Town roads and on a dirt road. Also there is a stop sign by Pine Rock Manor where you go onto School St., a resident stated to Chairman Nogues that was a yield sign at one time. The State changed that sign in November per date on the sign. Chairman Nogues will obtain additional information and speak with the resident.

Selectman Brayshaw updated the Board on the purchase of the Martin Building. On 12/29 purchase will be final. All discrepancies with the precinct bill have been worked out. The board discussed securing the building.

The Selectmen reviewed the bottom line of the budget, Chairman Nogues made the motion to pay the following items out of what is left of the bottom line.

1. Repair of Fire Station roof

2. Renovation of Town Hall offices

3. New carpet at the CAP building

4. Repair of the roof at the Town Hall

5. Computer equipment

6. Payment to LighTec for energy efficient lights

7. A radio for a highway truck

After the above items are paid $25,779.45 is left in the bottom line. Selectman Brayshaw seconded.

Selectman Brayshaw made the motion to adjourn at 9:00 P.M., Chairman Nogues seconded.
