WARNER BOARD OF SELECTMEN
In Attendance: John C. Brayshaw – Chairman Robert C. O’Connor Edward F. Mical Recording secretary: Mary Whalen Topic: Revaluation, Transfer Station, and East Roby District The Board discussed the two remaining proposals, which are Corcoran Consulting Associates, and Earls Nieder Perkins, LLC. Selectman Mical visited the Henniker Assessing office; they are currently using Vision software and are very pleased with the software. Selectman Mical informed the Board of Selectmen that in order to print the cards a laser printer is required. Equipment is not included in any of the proposals. In addition to the software, Henniker keeps a hard copy file. Discussion followed on the benefits of keeping a hard copy file. The Board discussed Vision Software and Proval Software. Yearly update of Vision Software is $2800.00 and Proval Software is $1300.00 per year. The Board discussed pros and cons about the two remaining proposals. Selectman O’Connor made a motion that regardless who the contractor is for the Town Wide Revaluation, Vision Software will be used. Selectman Mical seconded the motion. All were in favor. The motion passed. Selectman Mical and Selectman O’Connor will be contacting the references that were furnished by both Corcoran Consulting Associates and Earls Nieder Perkins LLC. The Board will make a final decision on Tuesday, January 8, 2002. The Board discussed the management issues between the Transfer Station and the Highway Department. The Board discussed the estimate for repair of the East Roby District Project. Selectman Mical motioned to adjourn. Selectman O’Connor seconded the motion. All were in favor. The motion passed. |
