Warner Board of Selectmen Work Session Meeting Minutes November 10, 2003 In attendance: Selectman Edward F. Mical – Chairman Selectman John C. Brayshaw Selectman Allen C. Brown Recorder of the minutes is Mary Whalen. Chairman Mical opened the work session at 5:13 p.m. The work session is focused on budget review. The Selectmen determined that clarification is needed regarding the Fire Chief’s 2004 proposed salary, in addition to the alarm calls, are the alarm calls separate or are they included within the proposed salary? This needs to be decided. The Selectmen discussed the budgets that have already been reviewed and the salaries that have been presented. The Selectmen discussed presenting their salary proposals during the Selectmen’s budget presentation. Further discussion surrounded around wage determination and presentation. The Selectmen will continue having work sessions until there is a resolution. Chairman Mical discussed Capitol Improvements and Capitol Outlay as part of the budget process. Expendable Trusts, equipment and road construction projects were discussed. The Selectmen discussed upcoming proposed road construction projects that needs to be addressed, also ways to fund the construction. The Selectmen will schedule a work session with the Director of Public Works in order to discuss upcoming road construction. Selectman Brown made the motion to adjourn at 6:00 p.m. Selectman Brayshaw seconded the motion. All were in favor. The motion passed.
