Chairman O’Connor opened the meeting at 8:30 a.m., in attendance was Selectman Robert C. O’Connor – Chairman, Selectman John C. Brayshaw, Selectman Edward F. Mical, Assessing Clerk Martha Mical, and Mr. Phil Bodwell from Earl Nieder Perkins LLC, Recorder of the minutes is Mary Whalen.

Mr. Bodwell proceeded to explain the status of the Town Wide Revaluation. Currently, interiors of homes are being looked at, after the village area is completed the status will be 65% complete. There are 1847 parcels, 1127 buildings not counting the out buildings of which 728 are listed and measured.

Selectman Brayshaw asked if individual notes are being taken for each house. Mr. Bodwell confirmed. The data entry will begin in December of 2002, and the sales analysis will also begin in December and stretch into January and February. Selectman Mical confirmed that the sales analysis covers the last two years.

Mr. Bodwell attended a seminar regarding the assessing of cell towers, and informed the Board that assessed values prove to be very high because you can assess all that uses the tower.

At the first of the year final notices will be sent out to those who have not responded.

Selectman Mical made a motion to adjourn. Chairman O’Connor seconded the motion. All were in favor. The motion passed.
